July 23, 2007 – 6:27 pmSo I survived yesterday afternoon with the kids by myself. DW was at a bridal shower, and I took the kids to a birthday party and then a visit with my parents. When we arrived at their house, I snuck out to do a last minute errand (pay a bill at Future Shop). It was a hot day, so I stopped in at Tim’s for an ice cap before heading back.
When I got there the girls happened to be there to answer the door with my mom. Upon seeing my drink, J quipped: “Hey, did you trick us? Did you really go to Future Shop, or did you just say you were so you could get that?”
Doh! Busted! By my 4.5 year old!
